What the labels mean
- Backed by a record: A source cites a record, document or data that supports it.
- Disputed: The other side or a source contradicts it.
- No evidence given: The reporting shows no record or data behind it.
- Unclear: The reporting doesn't settle it either way.
- "Said N times" counts how often the same talking point turned up in separate reports. When later reporting backs up or contradicts a claim, its label changes and the update is dated.
